Staff from national recycling giant SUEZ have been volunteering at Calvert Devon to help spruce up outside fixtures and fittings in time for the spring and summer.

The railings and decking areas at the outdoor adventure centre for people of all abilities were due a much-needed makeover and the volunteers from the nationwide recycling and waste management company were happy to help.

The work included cleaning, sanding, and re‑treating the decking and handrails, giving the well‑used space a fresh new lease of life in time for the busy season.

Calvert Devon is a charity whose centre near Kentisbury provides a safe, supportive environment where people with disabilities or additional needs can experience the thrill of activities such as horse riding, canoeing, cycling, climbing, archery and more.
