Motorists are being advised to avoid a main route into Barnstaple this afternoon (Monday) following a two vehicle collision on the North Devon Link Road.
Police were called at around 3.45pm after reports of two vehicles colliding on the A361 near the Landkey junction.
The police said injuries to those in the vehicles are not thought to be serious but one lane is blocked as a result of the collision.
Work is ongoing to clear the route and it is understood recovery vehicles are on their way.
In the meantime, if motorists can avoid the area or take an alternate route, they are advised to do so.
