Torridge District Council is asking for residents’ views to help contribute to a healthier, more sustainable environment for local people.
The short survey takes around five minutes to complete and is anonymous. It is intended to help inform the work of the Councillor Climate Emergency Working Group.
The survey asks residents a series of questions about action they have taken to protect nature and/or reduce their climate impact along with any barriers to action they have faced.

Feedback from the survey will support and guide the group’s work, which aims to assist with what action the council needs to take itself and how the council can support residents and businesses.
Councillor Peter Hames, lead member for climate change, said: “We are really keen to gather residents’ views on climate and nature within Torridge, what they are already doing, what they would like to do and what is preventing them from doing it.
“I would encourage everyone to take part because the feedback will help the council to develop its policies and action plans in order to create a healthier, more sustainable environment for everyone in the Torridge area.”
To take part in the survey, please go to www.torridge.gov.uk/climatesurvey. The survey is now open and runs until October 17.
