Reports say the A39 near Shirwell is partially blocked currently, after a car overturned.
There are reports of queuing traffic after a car overturned on the A39 outside Shirwell this afternoon (Friday, September 5).
Police were called at around today and emergency services are on scene.
According to traffic site Inrix, the incident happened between the turn off by Shirwell Primary School and the junction with the Upcott turn off.
Devon and Cornwall Police said no serious injuries had been reported and the driver is being assessed by paramedics.
UPDATE 6.30pm: Police said the female driver of the car has been taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries and the vehicle is awaiting recovery
