Barnstaple police want to hear from the owner of a suspected stolen bicycle to return it to them following an arrest in the town

This bike was recovered by police in Barnstaple after someone was arrested on suspicion of stealing it.

Police in Barnstaple are trying to find the owner of a suspected stolen bicycle and reunite them with their property.

Officers arrested an individual in the early hours of this morning (Saturday, August 30) on suspicion of stealing the bike.

The person is currently in custody and an investigation is ongoing.

Police said: “We are trying to identify the owner of the bike. If you think it’s yours, please check if it’s where you think it is.”
