The northbound exit of the M5 at Junction 27 for Tiverton has been closed following a lorry fire, according to National Highways.

Devon and Cornwall Police and Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service are at the scene, with traffic officers assisting.

Motorists are advised of delays of up to 10 minutes on approach.

Drivers are encouraged to plan alternative routes or allow extra time for their journeys.
