Tyspane Care Home was recently visited by Alpacas from Woolley Animals in Winkleigh.

Alpacas are social animals, and they maintain a hierarchy within their herd, they can communicate feelings of submission and dominance towards each other and humans which made them the ideal guests at Tyspane Care Home.

Residents, families, friends and staff found the experience comforting, magical and memorable, in fact they have never stopped talking about the experience.

So, by popular demand the Alpacas visited Tyspane Care Home this month to make even more wonderful memories with residents, families, staff and the wonderful preschool children at Little Fishes, Braunton.

The sun shone, the children squealed with delight, and the residents did not stop smiling. The whole afternoon was ‘exceptional’ and ‘one never to be forgotten’.

Tyspane resident Tony said: “I think one of the Alpacas is eating my hat.”

Fellow resident James added: “What an amazing experience.”

The staff and residents at Tyspane Care Home would like to thank Woolley Animals and Little Fishes for sharing a special day.
