Hayley Adams was found dead at a house in Gorwell Road on November 4.
Police have named the woman who died in Barnstaple at the weekend as Hayley Adams, aged 38 and her family have released her picture.
Cheyanne Loder appeared in court before magistrates in Exeter yesterday (Tuesday, November 7) charged with the murder of Hayley Adams.
Loder, of Gorwell Road, Barnstaple, was remanded in custody. The case was adjourned for a bail hearing to take place at Exeter Crown Court tomorrow (Thursday, November 9).
The charge relates to an incident at an address in Gorwell Road, Barnstaple, on Saturday 4 November.
Police and paramedics attended but Ms Adams was pronounced dead at the scene. Loder was subsequently arrested on suspicion of murder.
