A remarkable adventure is on the horizon for a team from Roundswell Toyota, Taunton Titans Rugby Football Club and veterans of the UK armed forces.
In the Toyota True Freedom 3 Peaks Challenge, the team are gearing up to take on the awe-inspiring heights of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Mount Snowdon for a six-day expedition, all in the name of supporting a very special veterans’ charity, The Not Forgotten.
The Toyota True Freedom 3 Peaks Challenge is a test of resilience, camaraderie, the opportunity to prove EV Mobility and a heartfelt commitment to a very worthwhile cause. As the team push their physical and mental limits, they aim to conquer these three majestic peaks while raising awareness and funds for The Not Forgotten, an organisation that supports over 10,000 injured or sick armed forces veterans and serving military personnel every year.
"We are thrilled to announce the Toyota True Freedom 3 Peaks Challenge, where we join hands with Roundswell Toyota, Taunton Titans, and veteran beneficiaries of our charity to undertake this incredible journey," said Richard Walker OBE, Chief Executive of The Not Forgotten.
Nigel Burke, Chairman of Somerset County Cars Group said: "This challenge is a testament to the power of teamwork and determination, and along with all those involved, we are proud to contribute to The Not Forgotten's hugely important and valuable work."
The challenge will span six days of breathtaking landscapes, strenuous hiking, and heartwarming stories of the personal endurance and bravery of veterans, which will be shared on each of Roundswell Toyota Social media pages.
The team aim to raise £20,000 through their endeavour, which will make a significant difference in the lives of those who have served and sacrificed for their countries.
