Petroc College partners with LEX Leisure to deliver Sports Courses at Tarka Leisure

Petroc is thrilled to announce that as of September this year, their sports courses will be delivered from the brand new Tarka Leisure Centre in Barnstaple.

This exciting development will provide students with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, helping them to excel in their studies and achieve their goals in the sports industry.

The Tarka Leisure Centre features an impressive range of facilities that will be utilised by our students including a multi-use sports hall, a 110+ station gym, two fitness studios and top of the range group cycling studio.

These world-class facilities will provide Petroc students with an unparalleled learning experience, helping them to develop the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the sports industry.

To celebrate the launch of this exciting new development, Petroc will be hosting an open evening to coinside with it’s Barnstaple Campus event, on Wednesday 18 October.

Prospective year 11 and Higher Education learners who are interested in the sports industry are invited to come and take a look at the brand new Tarka Leisure Centre and see where they will be learning. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet current students, speak to tutors, and get a feel for what life is like as a Petroc College Sports student.

The partnership will also see our students and staff receive at Tarka Leisure Centre an impressive 15% discount on all inclusive flexible memberships.
