Cat Holland a local experienced Manager won the Leadership Award
Phoenix Learning and Care Group held its sixth annual Phoenix HEART Awards last month.
Phoenix, a special needs schools and college provider with a care arm in children's homes, recognised individual and team achievements across 10 categories along with some competition areas and held its prestigious and glamorous event in July to recognise outstanding achievements of Team Members who support some of the most vulnerable children and young people in society.
Employing 558 people across the South West and Wales, they provide localised services for communities, working alongside social care and education.
Jon Pain, CEO said: "The HEART awards are a highlight in our calendar, where we recognise the skill, compassion and dedication demonstrated by our Team Members throughout the year in the delivery of Education and Care to the People we Support, I couldn’t be prouder."
Cat Holland a North Devon manager won the Leadership Award. Lyndy Quinn Director of Care said: "Cat wholly deserves this award, Cat breezed in with confidence, enthusiasm and determination, it’s a fabulous place for children to live and she has added a new zest of life into the atmosphere."
Cat also scooped up the Runner Up in therapeutic Practice and David Hill and Rob Rogers the Runner Up for the Bake Off Competition.
