The valley has been named the best winter walk in the UK by a holiday company.Â

Heddon Valley stretches for two miles with a walk that been described as having a diverse landscape, from the wooded valley to the rocky beach.Â

Heddon Vally beat Tintern Abbey and Devil’s Pulpit in the Wye Valley which was second, the Beatrix Potter Walk at Sawrey in the Lake District third, Blakeney Freshes, Norfolk, fourth and Corfe Castle in Dorset fifth.Â
