SHOPPERS toasted Atlantic Village's 10th anniversary with a slice of birthday cake on Saturday.
Hundreds of visitors to the Bideford-based retail outlet enjoyed a feast of pirate-themed fun with stilt walkers, jugglers, face-painting, balloon modellers and a human "statues".
The Atlantic Village complex was opened on August 3 2000 by television presenter Gail Porter, who signed scores of autographs and posed for pictures with fans. Readers may also recall that the official opening also featured circus performers and an African dance group.
