TORRIDGE Poverty Action Group is holding a fund-raising weekend next month.Volunteers will be selling donated clothing and other items at the two-day event at 7 Queen Street, Bideford, on Saturday, December 6 and Sunday December 7.Tea, coffee and biscuits will also be available from 10am to 3pm both days. "The weekend will also give people the opportunity to learn about the work that TPAG does in the Torridge area," said spokesperson Peter Jennings."Donations are still urgently required and all will be gratefully received at 7 Queen Street, open Monday to Thursday 9am to 1pm. "People can also telephone (01237) 472437 to arrange for volunteers to collect," he added.
