MEMBERS of the Bideford branch of the Royal British Legion called at their local Morrisons store to say "thank you" for the Poppy Day fund-raising there.Store customers and staff this year donated more than £4,000.Geoff Gittins, chairman of the Bideford branch RBL said: "The amount collected is fantastic and I say 'thank you' to Morrisons and their customers. "Also the collecter and both large and small businesses throughout the area, who are making the appeal run so successfully and, hopefully, we will beat last year's total of more than £16,000 pounds.
