A brand new entertainment centre with cutting edge sports simulators offering everything from a tense Wembley penalty shootout to high speed racing circuits has opened in Barnstaple.
ExSports is now open at Pottington Industrial Estate and offers a simulator experience with access to 30-plus different sports, alongside immersive driving and shooting simulations — all under one roof.
Visitors can live out their sporting fantasies - whether it’s firing penalties at Wembley, playing golf on championship courses, hitting the bullseye on a target range, or racing through high-speed circuits.
Based at Riverview Commercial Centre near Market Vets, the new centre caters for all ages, from families and groups to corporate team building days and parties, it can be booked by the hour or available for private hire. (what3words stole.rally.copy).

The business was founded by Lee Parsons, who said: “We kept saying, ‘Why isn’t there anything like this here?’ So we created it ourselves.
“ExSports isn’t just about having fun — though that’s a huge part — it’s about building something exciting and modern for Barnstaple that brings people together, gets them moving, and shows what’s possible locally.
“It’s as if a sports centre and an arcade had a child – but smarter, slicker and packed with variety. Whether you’re into football, golf, rugby, clay pigeon shooting or racing, there’s something for everyone. We’re proud to bring this level of entertainment to Barnstaple.”
