Residents in Knowle are being informed of a change to their polling station location ahead of the local elections on Thursday, 1 May 2025.

Voters who were previously set to vote at The Ebrington Arms, Knowle, are now asked to cast their ballots at The Church Hall, Christchurch, East Street, Braunton, EX33 2EA.

North Devon Council is directly notifying all affected residents of the change. Other polling stations across the district will remain unchanged.

Ken Miles, Deputy Returning Officer at North Devon Council, said: "We understand that this change of polling station is likely to cause inconvenience, and we sincerely apologise for any disruption caused as a result of these unforeseen circumstances. We have written to all affected voters to inform them of the change and the details of their new polling station.

"All other polling stations remain unchanged, and I hope as many people as possible will be attending their local polling station on 1 May, with a valid form of photo ID, to exercise their right to vote."

Accepted forms of photo ID include passports, driving licences, and certain concessionary travel passes, such as an older persons' bus pass.

For the first time, HM Armed Forces Veteran Cards will also be accepted as valid ID. Expired ID can be used as long as the photo is still recognisable.
