Barnstaple’s Annual Residents Meeting hosted by the town council is taking place next Wednesday, April 30 at the Guildhall.
The meeting starts at 6pm and all are welcome to go along and hear about the council’s work over the past year, learn about future plans and speak to their local councillors.
There will also be an opportunity for residents to ask questions, raise issues and share views on matters that are important to them.
Mayor of Barnstaple, Councillor Janet Coates said: “We encourage residents to come along to this annual meeting to hear what the council have been working on as well as our future projects and priorities for the next year.”
The meeting agenda will include a presentation of the council’s Annual Report, plus an overview of key projects and initiatives delivered in the past year.
There will also be a look at upcoming plans and the council’s priorities for the town in the next 12 months.
Plus there will be presentation of grant awards to local organisations in recognition of their contributions to the community.
