A fire this morning (25 February) has led to the closure of The Combes Golf Park, located near Woolacombe.
The park issued the following statement on their Facebook page: “We are very sad to say we are now closed due to a large fire that has caused substantial damage to The Combes Golf Park early this morning.”
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service told the Gazette as of 12.10pm: "We have three appliances plus special appliances attending a fire at The Combes Golf Park, where the driving range shelter and bar are on fire. Fire crews are now damping down hotspots and the police are maintaining a road closure."
