Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident in Barnstaple.

Police were notified at around 5.25 pm yesterday, Monday 10 February, about reports of disorder involving several men on Barnstaple High Street.

Officers attended the area and conducted a search for two suspects who had fled the scene in a vehicle.

The vehicle then collided with another car.

The police reported no injuries were caused to any of the occupants in the vehicles.

Two males, aged 17 and 18, were detained by officers shortly after and are now in police custody for several offences, including failing to stop, dangerous driving, drug driving, affray, and possession of drugs.

Police would like any witnesses to either incident to contact them on 101 or via their website, quoting reference 50250035487.
