Petroc's Sticklepath Hill campus
Petroc College has announced a new campaign, ‘100 Apprentices in 100 Days’, officially launching on 11 February.
The campaign aims to unite businesses across North Devon in pledging an apprenticeship opportunity; something North Devon Council has said is “creating vital career pathways for students in the year ahead.”
The initiative seeks to secure commitments from local employers to provide 100 apprenticeship placements in just 100 days, helping to tackle skills gaps, support young talent, and strengthen the local economy.
Petroc stated: “By creating 100 apprenticeship opportunities in just 100 days, we’re helping individuals gain invaluable skills and experience while supporting employers in growing their workforce with fresh, motivated talent.”
The college has emphasised that by offering opportunities, businesses can nurture fresh talent while contributing to the future prosperity of North Devon.
Petroc is calling on companies of all sizes to take part, describing it as an incredible chance for businesses to invest in their future workforce while giving students the skills and experience they need to succeed.
Businesses can sign up and learn more about the benefits of apprenticeships via Petroc’s website: https://www.petroc.ac.uk/100-apprentices-in-100-days/
