Pictures show the site where 820 homes could eventually be built in Landkey.
The potential development site, located at Westacott just north of the A361 North Devon Link Road, is currently in the consultation period as part of the reserved matters application for its first phase, which would see 381 homes built.
The total of 820 homes is the overall housing scheme, which will have a phased delivery.

North Devon Council told the Gazette that they recently met with the developers, Lovell, to review comments from consultees.
In response, the developer is making minor updates to the layout based on some of the feedback received.
The council also stated that some consultation responses are still outstanding and are required before the application can progress.
However, they confirmed that, depending on when the additional information is received, they aim to determine the application in early April.
The application states that, alongside the new homes, there are plans for a new primary school, community sports provision, and a network of open spaces, along with associated highways infrastructure.
