Series of thefts and vehicle damage reported in North Devon

Police are investigating multiple reports of thefts, vehicle interference, and damage

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a series of thefts, interference and damage to vehicles in Barnstaple.

Between Friday 24 and Saturday 25 January, Police confirmed that there have been a number of reports in the Sunflower Road and Bicton Street area of Barnstaple.

The reports have included vehicles being entered and items stolen, a report of number plates being stolen, and interference and damage.

The police are now asking for residents to lock their vehicles at all times and remove any personal items and valuables.

They also say that if you see anybody acting suspiciously, please call 999, if possible please make a note of descriptions.

Anyone with other relevant information or CCTV in the area is asked to contact police via the Devon & Cornwall Police website or by calling 101 quoting 50250020382.
