Green Lanes Shopping Centre in Barnstaple is set to undergo an upgrade, with floor replacement works starting yesterday, Monday, January 20.
The project, aimed at enhancing both safety and aesthetics, is expected to be completed by the end of April 2025.
In a statement on their website, the shopping centre confirmed that the works will focus on key areas throughout the centre to improve the overall shopping experience for visitors.
The centre has assured customers that disruption will be kept to a minimum, with careful planning in place to ensure that stores remain accessible.
“We are working closely with our contractors to minimise disruption to tenants, shops, and customers throughout this period,” said a spokesperson.
“Careful planning has been undertaken to ensure that stores will remain accessible and that customers can continue to shop, dine, and enjoy their time at Green Lanes with ease.”
The centre management also expressed their gratitude for the patience and understanding of the community during the renovations.
Green Lanes says it looks forward to unveiling the upgraded space in the coming months and thanks shoppers, tenants, and staff for their continued support during this time of improvement.
