North Devon Homes has been invited by the National Housing Federation (NHF) to attend a select committee discussion in Westminster.
The event will focus on the important role that housing associations play in shaping communities.
It is being held to help inform the UK Government's Housing Strategy, which will be released in June 2025.
North Devon Homes will share its work in involving residents and providing affordable housing.
The invitation follows North Devon Homes’ recent achievement of receiving the highest C1 grading in a Regulatory Inspection.
Martyn Gimber, Chief Executive of North Devon Homes, said: “We are honoured to participate in these important discussions and share our experiences to help inform a National Strategy on Housing. Community engagement is at the heart of what we do, and these opportunities allow us to highlight the difference we are making in people’s lives. Achieving the C1 grading was a proud moment for our team, and we are excited to continue this journey of creating positive, sustainable communities.”
North Devon Homes has also been invited to present at the NHF’s Customer Experience and Resident Engagement (CERE) Conference in February 2025.
As part of the conference, the organisation will create a video showcasing its approach to working with residents and creating inclusive communities.
Mr Gimber added: “We’re committed to creating communities where people want to live.
“We know that the key to this is listening to our customers. That’s why we actively work with our residents to help to continuously improve our services.”
North Devon Homes continues to focus on involving residents in decision-making as part of its efforts to deliver their housing services.
