Devon County Council has announced that a stretch of road from Stibb Cross towards Shebbear will be closed for four weeks starting from 13 January.

The closure affects the section of road between the junctions with the lane to Bradworthy Farm and the road past Pleasant View.

The closure is necessary to carry out essential drainage and resurfacing works.

The council stated on their website that the work will be carried out under a road closure, but access to Shebbear from the South will remain open.

Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes during the closure period to avoid delays.
