Freezing temperatures and icy conditions have caused widespread disruption across Devon, with many schools announcing closures or delayed openings today, 9 January 2025.
A Met Office ice warning remains in effect, with black ice posing significant risks to travel.
Below-freezing temperatures overnight have created hazardous conditions on roads, leading to full closures for some schools and staggered starts for others.
