A housebuilder has unveiled plans to construct 150 new homes in North Devon after completing the purchase of its largest open-market site to date.
Allison Homes South West will lead the development in Landkey, named Cherry Grove, which will feature a mix of two-, three-, and four-bedroom properties.
As part of the project, 30 per cent of the homes will be designated as affordable housing, aimed at meeting the needs of the local community.
Construction is scheduled to begin this spring, with the showhome expected to be unveiled by winter 2025.
Steve Fowler, Managing Director at Allison Homes South West, expressed enthusiasm for the project, saying:
“It’s an exciting time at Allison Homes South West as this is our biggest open market development to date.
“By working closely with the council and local contractors, we’re delighted to be able to provide local people with a great place to live.
“We’re looking forward to commencing work on the first homes this spring and continuing our journey towards being the housebuilder that homeowners can trust.”
