Stagecoach announces Christmas bus timetable changes

Stagecoach South West has unveiled its festive bus schedule for the holiday season, with adjusted services running from Monday, 23 December, to Saturday, 4 January.

While no buses will operate on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, or New Year’s Day, the operator confirmed that special timetables will be in place for other days, helping passengers travel for last-minute shopping or festive gatherings.

On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, services will run under special timetables, with the final buses departing around 6pm. Sunday timetables will be in effect on 22 and 29 December, while the rest of the holiday period will follow the special schedule.

A full breakdown of the holiday service plan includes:

• Sunday 22 December: Sunday timetable
• Monday 23 December – Saturday 4 January: Special timetables in place
• Christmas Day (25 December), Boxing Day (26 December), New Year’s Day (1 January): No service
• Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve (24 and 31 December): Special timetables, last buses around 6pm
