Motorists traveling through the junction of Buckleigh Road and the A39 in Bideford are being urged to proceed with caution after a power failure knocked out all traffic lights in the area.
Devon Alert, the official traffic monitoring service, announced the issue on X (formerly Twitter), confirming that the lights are currently out of action.
The National Grid has been informed and is working to resolve the problem.
The announcement on X at 7.51am this morning (December 9) stated: "The traffic lights at the junction of Buckleigh Road and the A39, Bideford are currently all off due to a power failure. National Grid are aware. Please approach with caution."
