Set against the backdrop of a ravaged Europe in 1943, the story unfolds as two women seek refuge from their haunting pasts, grappling with the chilling consequences of one woman’s desperate ambition.
“I created life. You don’t believe me but it’s true. I didn’t start from scratch of course but out of portions and odd ends I made something –alive. But what I created… it wasn’t a superhuman. It was a monster.”
This reimagining promises an atmospheric experience, enhanced by an original score that explores the very fabric of humanity and the perilous pursuit of perfection.
The cast also includes original members Basienka Blake as Captain/Dr. Richter and Lula Marsh as Elizabeth, with further casting announcements expected soon.
“A thought-provoking reimagining of Frankenstein is a veritable rage against humanity,” praised The Yorkshire Post.
Frankenstein features design by Nicky Bunch, lighting by Matt Haskins, and a score by Eamonn O’Dwyer. This production is not suitable for children under 12.
