Devon County Council has announced that drainage works will be carried out on the A3123 between Lynton Cross and Seven Ash Cross from Monday, October 14, to Friday, October 25.
The road will be closed to traffic during this period, including the weekend of October 19 and 20, due to its width.
A spokesperson for the council stated: “"Devon Highways will be undertaking essential drainage works. Due to the nature of the road, it is necessary to implement a full closure for the duration of the project.”
Pedestrian access will be maintained, along with access to properties within the closure area. Motorists will be directed to use a signed diversion route via the A399, A39, A361, and back to the A3123.
The council confirmed that this closure will cover the entire length of the work, ensuring a streamlined process for the necessary repairs.
