Ambulance station temporarily closed after water leak

Services remain unaffected despite weekend disruption, says NHS Trust.

Bideford Ambulance Station has been temporarily closed following an internal water leak over the weekend.

A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust confirmed the closure but assured the public that ambulance services in the area remain unaffected.

"We are still providing the same level of cover in the area, and our response to patients has not been affected," the spokesperson said.

Residents are urged to continue calling 999 in life-threatening emergencies as usual while the station undergoes repairs. The Trust has not yet provided a timeline for when the station will reopen.
