The group is all about connections
A new group of the National Women’s Register (NWR) is set to launch in Barnstaple, offering local women aged 55 and over the chance to connect and engage in meaningful discussions.
The first meeting will take place on 10 October and aims to foster friendships and provide a space for stimulating conversations.
The Barnstaple NWR group will offer members the opportunity to engage in stimulating conversations on a wide range of topics; from current events to personal passions.
Beyond regular meetings, the group will host social events, speaker sessions, and outings, providing a variety of ways for women to connect.
Claire Kendrick, Head of Operations for NWR, shared her enthusiasm for the new group: “We are so excited to bring an NWR group to Barnstaple. This group will be a fantastic way for women to meet new friends and participate in vibrant, thoughtful discussions. It’s all about creating a welcoming, supportive space for women to express themselves and connect.”
The Barnstaple NWR group will not only offer lively discussions on a variety of topics but also social events and outings.
Interested women are encouraged to visit the NWR website to join the waitlist and receive updates on upcoming meetings.
