Griffiths issues latest update on North Devon Link Road works

There will be a series of night time closures

Motorists travelling along the A361 North Devon Link Road (NDLR) between Portmore and Borners Bridge are being urged to plan ahead as contractor Griffiths announces a series of upcoming traffic management schemes aimed at facilitating ongoing roadworks.

Starting from yesterday, Monday, September 23, and continuing until October 4, the NDLR will see various night-time closures. 

These closures will take place on weeknights from 8pm to 6am between the North Aller Roundabout and Landkey Roundabout.

The specific schedule for the closures is as follows:

Closure Schedule:

  • Monday, 23rd September: 8pm – 6am
  • Tuesday, 24th September: 8pm – 6am
  • Wednesday, 25th September: 8pm – 6am
  • Thursday, 26th September: 8pm – 6am
  • Friday, 27th September: 8pm – 6am
  • Monday, 30th September: 8pm – 6am
  • Tuesday, 1st October: 8pm – 6am
  • Wednesday, 2nd October: 8pm – 6am
  • Thursday, 3rd October: 8pm – 6am
  • Friday, 4th October: 8pm – 6am

In addition to these closures, there will also be a closure between Bish Mill and Borner’s Roundabouts on weeknights from 23 to 27 September. 

Traffic lights will be operational on the A361 at Yarnacott Bridge from 23 to 25 September between 10am and 3pm.
