The care home has been sold
A care home located in Holsworthy, Devon, has been sold, with the announcement made by specialist business property adviser Christie & Co.
Deer Park Care Home, situated along Rydon Road, has been a strong part of the community, offering care for the elderly with a CQC registration for up to 56 residents.
The home has been purchased by Camelot Care, a family-run business renowned for its 25 years of experience in delivering person-centred care.
A spokesperson from Camelot Care expressed their excitement about the acquisition, stating, “We are excited to add this sizeable home to our portfolio and look forward to providing a new home with high-quality dementia care for the residents of Holsworthy and district.”
Camelot Care plans to refurbish the property before reopening Deer Park as a care home, bringing renewed services and support to the local elderly community.
Eve Apperley, Business Agent at Christie & Co who facilitated the sale, said: “We received significant interest in the home, however, the seller was very specific in her wish to see it reopen as a care home. With this in mind, we ensured we found a reputable operator experienced in these types of transactions.”
