The Big Sheep Car Show is set to make a grand return on September 8 promising another exciting display of classic and sports cars in North Devon.
Originally launched in the summer of 2016, the event was a collaborative effort between the North Devon Sports & Classic Car Club (NDSCCC) and The Big Sheep to showcase vehicles in the Bideford area.
The inaugural show was a hit, adding a new attraction to The Big Sheep’s lineup and featuring public-voted prizes for standout cars.
The event's popularity surged, with over 100 vehicles participating by 2018.
Although numbers dipped slightly to 77 in 2019 due to adverse weather conditions, the show remained a success.
The event faced a hiatus in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic but made a strong comeback in 2021, with well over 100 vehicles on display.
The Big Sheep Car Show is open to car enthusiasts and clubs beyond the NDSCCC, making it a vibrant addition to the classic car calendar.
For this year’s event, car owners can participate for free but must register in advance.
Cars should be in place by 10am, with prize-giving scheduled for 2pm.
Each registered car includes free entry for two people, with additional attendees eligible for discounted entry.
Members of the public can view the show free of charge.
