A road traffic collision on the A361 Barnstaple Western Bypass earlier today led to the full closure of the road.
The incident involved two cars.
Police were called to the A361 in Barnstaple at around 1.40pm on Tuesday 20 August following reports of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles.
The ambulance service was also called.
Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed that the road has since reopened and that there do not appear to be any injuries resulting from the incident.
