Pig and Olive's Westward Ho! location has won the Gold award in the Casual Dining category at the 2024 Taste of the West Awards.
This recognition comes after the restaurant also secured Bronze at the South West Tourism Awards and the Devon Tourism Awards earlier this year.
Located behind the pebble ridge in Westward Ho!, Pig and Olive has become known for its Neapolitan-style pizzas, featuring hand-crafted dough and a variety of toppings.
The restaurant offers a selection of drinks sourced from local producers and operates year-round, serving both locals and visitors, even during the quieter winter months.
Pig and Olive also emphasises sustainability, implementing eco-friendly sourcing and practices aimed at reducing its environmental impact.
Owner Rachel Hicken said: “We are absolutely thrilled to receive the Gold award from Taste of the West. This recognition reflects the hard work of our incredible team and the unwavering support of our loyal customers. Our mission has always been to provide exceptional food and service while staying true to our commitment to sustainability.”
In addition to its Westward Ho! location, Pig and Olive runs a takeaway in Barnstaple and a mobile pizza van that serves various villages across North Devon.
The restaurant continues to be a popular spot in the region, offering its menu to a wide audience.
