Temperatures are expected to soar once again as the Met Office predicts a rise in the mercury by the start of next week, with the south and east of England set to feel the heat the most.
For North Devon, the outlook from Saturday to Monday is one of warm sunny spells and increasingly humid conditions.
Saturday will see any drizzle clear, giving way to brighter skies.
As the weekend progresses, Sunday and Monday are forecasted to be often sunny, with temperatures climbing to 26°C on Sunday and a slightly cooler 24°C on Monday.
However, some coastal areas may experience low cloud and mist, which could linger throughout the day.
Residents and visitors are advised to take precautions during the hot weather, including staying hydrated and avoiding excessive sun exposure during peak hours.
