A flower show is coming to the RHS Rosemoor gardens in Great Torrington this August.
From August 16-18, visitors can look forward to viewing a variety of floral displays, an extensive range of plants for sale, inspiring demonstrations, and live music throughout the event.
A highlight of the show will be the opportunity to interact with knowledgeable growers and RHS experts.
Whether you're seeking advice on how to care for your current plants or looking to discover new and unusual varieties, you'll find plenty of expert guidance on offer.
There will also be a timetable so visitors can check times of live talks and demonstrations upon arrival to make the most of your day.
Internationally acclaimed floral designer Jonathan Moseley will be on stage with twice-daily flower arranging demonstrations, while other respected flower arrangers, including Alison Penno, will also share their skills.
Visitors will even have the chance to take home their own floral creations.
The schedule will also feature a series of talks by experts sharing their specialist knowledge.
An addition to the show will be the Devon and Cornwall Floral Art’s Floral Competition in the Garden Room.
This show will feature classes for all levels of expertise.
Interested participants are highly encouraged to enter by requesting an application form via email at rosemoorevents@rhs.org.uk.
Families can enjoy plenty of fun with children’s entertainment and games, as well as the 'Great Garden Adventure with Shaun the Sheep' throughout the garden.
Alongside all the events, visitors can treat themselves to a takeaway Devon cream tea while enjoying live music on the lawn by the Wisteria Tearoom.
For an extra special treat, the Garden Restaurant offers an afternoon tea with garden views, available by advance booking only.
Early bird tickets are available for those wishing to beat the crowds, providing entry an hour before general admission on Friday 16 or Saturday 17 August.
These tickets are limited.
Alternatively, for a more relaxed start to your day, the Park and Ride Service from Great Torrington Commons offers convenient parking and easy access to the event.
All information will be available on the RHS website.
