The UK is set to experience a mini heatwave this week, bringing much-needed summer warmth to many regions.
North Devon is expected to see temperatures soar, with the Met Office forecasting a high of 27°C today.
The heatwave will continue, with temperatures reaching 26°C on Tuesday, July 30, and peaking at 28°C on Wednesday, July 31.
This rise in temperatures offers a stark contrast to the cooler weather experienced earlier this summer.
Local attractions, beaches, and outdoor spaces in North Devon are anticipated to draw larger crowds as people take advantage of the sunny weather.
However, the weather will take a dip on Thursday and Friday, with temperatures expected to reach 23°C, and Saturday will see a return to the lower twenties at 21°C.
This mini heatwave is expected to bring a brief period of intense heat before temperatures return to more typical summer levels later in the week.
