RHS Rosemoor is set to transport visitors back to the 1950s with the return of their much-anticipated Vintage Weekend, proudly supported by Atkins Ferrie Wealth Management.

This nostalgic event will take place on Saturday 27 to Sunday 28 July across the scenic gardens, promising a weekend filled with retro charm and entertainment for all ages.

The highlight of the weekend will be an impressive display of classic cars, motorcycles, tractors, and caravans showcased on the rolling lawns.

Enthusiasts will have the opportunity to chat with collectors who passionately preserve these vintage treasures, gaining insights into the history and restoration of these vehicles.

Guests can indulge in a quintessentially British experience with a cream tea or browse an array of vintage clothing in the Stream Field.

Adding to the 1950s ambiance, the gardens will resonate with live music from Paul Black on Saturday, followed by Rockin the Joint and May Blossom Vintage Songbird on Sunday. Throughout both days, the atmosphere will be further enlivened by Vintage DJ Dave the Bald Bopper.

For those keen to embrace the spirit of the era, Neil and Kerry from Step into Swing will be offering 1950s swing dance lessons, encouraging visitors to kick up their heels alongside Rockabilly dancers Lisa and Neil.

Families will find a range of nostalgic activities in Lady Anne’s garden, with Punch and Judy shows, steam rides, and retro games running from 10am to 4pm.

Young and old alike can relive a vintage childhood through these entertainments.

Fashion enthusiasts are encouraged to dress in their best 1950s attire for a chance to win the coveted Best Dressed prize, which includes VIP tickets to next year’s event.

An added touch of vintage charm comes with the opportunity to ride a classic Vintage Bus.
