Seven talented students from TEAM Multi Academy Trust, along with 70 members of the “Teachers Rock” choir consisting of staff and children, brought their talents to the biggest stage in British entertainment – Britain’s Got Talent!

The audition took place on January 27 but had to be kept a secret until very recently.

TEAM Multi Academy Trust is a trust of eight North Devon Primary schools whose vision of “Life, Love and Learning to the full” is centred on improving educational standards and the life chances of children across North Devon through collaboration with other schools and organisations locally and around the world.

The Teachers Rock choir, along with children from Pilton Bluecoat Academy, Brayford Academy, and Umberleigh Academy, travelled to the London Palladium to showcase their talents.

The performance impressed the judges, Bruno Tonioli, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, and Simon Cowell, who gave the group a resounding four "yeses" and a standing ovation from the audience.

While they may not have progressed to the semi-finals, the experience of performing in front of the judges and the legendary Ant and Dec will undoubtedly be a cherished memory for these talented youngsters and their teacher.

Music teacher at TEAM, Mrs Brayley said: “We are incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication our children put into this performance. Even though we didn't make it to the semi-finals, the experience of being on Britain’s Got Talent and receiving such positive feedback from the judges was truly unforgettable. It was a moment they, and we, will never forget!”
