HSBC in Barnstaple
The HSBC branch in Barnstaple is set to temporarily close its doors for a comprehensive refresh.
The branch will close on Friday, May 24 at 2pm and is scheduled to reopen on Friday, June 21 at 9.30am.
James Stocks, HSBC UK’s Local Director, commented on the closure: “We continue to invest in our branch network to make our customers’ experience banking with us a good one. We are pleased that our Barnstaple branch is getting a refresh, with some painting, new signage, and the installation of new state-of-the-art cash machines, which we are excited about."
HSBC has been informing customers about the temporary closure over the past month. During this period, customers can perform day-to-day transactions at their nearest Post Office, and mobile and online banking services will remain available 24/7.
Additionally, customers can call HSBC's contact centre for support.
To further assist customers during the refurbishment, HSBC will host Community Pop Up Events at Banbury’s Department Store, located at 32-33 High St, Barnstaple EX31 1BN. Representatives will be available from Wednesday, May 29 until Thursday, June 13, from 10am to 4pm.
For those needing branch services, the nearest alternative branch is located on Exeter High Street.
