Antique fair returns to Umberleigh

The event will run from 10am-3pm

An antique fair is set to return to the village of Umberleigh this weekend, offering a variety of items for sale, perfect for antique lovers.

Running from 10am till 3pm on Sunday, April 28, the antique fair will feature a variety of collectibles and antiques as well as silver, china, books, pictures, clothes, clocks, garden tools, furniture and jewellery.

Organised by Jane Laming who took over before the Covid pandemic, Jane said: “The fair has been going on for approximately eight years. Proceeds are split between the village hall and 25 per cent to the local Umberleigh primary school.”

On the day a cafe will be run offering bacon rolls, lunch rolls, tea, coffee and cake to fuel the customers and stallholders alike.

The event also offers free car parking and free entry.
