Storm Kathleen does her worst at Westward Ho! on Saturday: Credit: Graham Hobbs
Storm Kathleen passed through North Devon with minimal disruption but forecasters have issued yellow weather warnings for strong winds and big waves during high spring tides across the region today (Monday) and tomorrow.
Bideford photographer Graham Hobbs captured these impressive pictures of large waves battering the shoreline at Westward Ho! on Saturday (April 6).
The Met Office is warning of high winds and waves on the coast for the whole North Devon and Torridge area from Monday to Wednesday this week.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) in particular is forecast to have 35mph winds, with gusts up to 50mph around the 7.13am high tide for Ilfracombe, which will be one of the biggest tides of the year.
The west-north-west winds will raise the wave height significantly on most of the north coast and while winds are forecast to drop a little by the 7.33pm high tide tomorrow, there is still potential for disruption.
Storm watchers are always urged by HM Coastguard, the RNLI and other organisations to keep well back from the shoreline during such periods of rough weather and to enjoy the spectacle from a safe distance.
