The gardens will be offering a range of activities suited for children all throughout the Easter holidays
RHS Rosemoor is gearing up to host a variety of fun Easter activities this holiday season, promising an egg-cellent time for the whole family.
From March 29 to April 14, visitors to the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Gardens at Rosemoor in Torrington will be treated to an array of festive experiences, including the eagerly anticipated Giant Egg Hunt.
Families can embark on an exciting adventure through the garden, searching high and low for the giant decorated Easter eggs hidden among the greenery.
The gardens will be offering a range of activities suited for children all throughout the Easter holidays.
Included in these activities is the famous Easter egg hunt.
The Giant Easter Egg Hunt will take place daily from 10am to 5pm, offering ample opportunities for exploration and discovery.
Once all the eggs have been found, participants will be rewarded with a delightful chocolatey treat courtesy of NOMO - The UK’s No. 1 Vegan & ‘Free From’ Chocolate Brand.
On April 8, families can join the education team for a welly walk adventure from 10:30am to 12 noon, followed by a craft or planting activity to take home.
This immersive experience offers the perfect opportunity to explore the garden and engage in hands-on activities, all while enjoying the beauty of nature.
Admission for the Welly Walk is £3 for 1 adult and 1 child, with additional adults or children priced at £3 each.
The activity is suitable for children under 5.
For those with a passion for all things woolly, the gardens are offering a woolly animal experience.
The Great Wool Weekend will be held on April 13 and 14.
From 10am to 4pm, visitors can follow the knitted bunting trail, participate in craft workshops, and get up close to some wonderful woolly animals.
Plus, what Easter celebration would be complete without a visit from the Easter Bunny? Families can keep their eyes peeled for the bunny hopping around the garden, ready to meet and greet visitors over the Easter weekend from 11am to 3pm.
All activities are included with garden admission, unless stated, which applies from March 29 to April 14 and is free for RHS members and children under 5.
