Could your business join North Devon Hospice’s 40 for Forty Club and raise £1,000 to help care for thousands of local people in their time of need? Fundraising team member Claire shares more…

This year, 2024, is a very special year for North Devon Hospice as we mark 40 wonderful years of caring for local people and their loved ones, as they face a life-limiting illness like cancer.

During that time, we’ve been here to offer care, comfort, and reassurance, to hold families through their darkest times, and to give our patients the peace and dignity everyone deserves in their final days.

But none of this would be possible without you, our amazing North Devon community.

As we celebrate our 40th anniversary, your support will be more important than ever in ensuring we can be here for the next 40 years, caring for you, time after time.

As such, we’ll have plenty of exciting activities and events you can get involved in across the year to help mark this memorable milestone and raise even more vital funds so that we can be here for everyone who needs us this year and beyond.

For big-hearted businesses who want to make the ending matter for local families, our 40 for Forty Club is the perfect way to support your local hospice in our 40th year.

Launched this January, our 40 for Forty Business Club is open to just 40 amazing local companies, with the aim of raising £40,000 collectively across the year, which will help fund our vital care and support.

How do you take part? It’s easy! Each member of this exclusive club will have a fundraising target of just £1,000.

This could be made with a one-off company donation, or you could use this opportunity to get your staff involved in a whole host of fundraising activities throughout the year.

Enjoy fun-filled team-building days, boost staff morale, and grow your business profile in the community all while supporting an incredible local cause!

How ever you raise your £1,000 target, by joining our 40 for Forty Business Club, you and your colleagues can be part of something special and make a real difference to thousands of families journeying through their worst times.

As we commence our 40th year, sadly, more people than ever are relying on our care, and it’s getting harder to raise enough funds to meet local need.

But with your incredible support, no one will have to face their illness alone. Together, we can protect hospice care for the future and ensure that we can be there for patients and families in their darkest hour, time after time.
