Bideford draw at home to Yate Town
An excellent crowd of 280 were treated to a tight Southern League clash at the Sports Ground, where Bideford were held to a 1-1 draw by Yate Town.
Finn Roberts forced an early save from the visiting custodian before Adam Seedhouse showed his handy work with the gloves at the other end in an open start to the game.
The Robins found a breakthrough on the stroke of half-time, when Ryan Turner danced down the left flank and cut the ball back for Jordan Ewing. His initial effort was scuffed but Lewis Hill was in the right place to convert.
After the break, Yate escaped a decent effort from Niall Heeney that flew inches over the bar but got their leveller on 69 minutes, Milo Murgatroyd rifling into the net after a slick turn. The result kept Bideford three points outside the play-offs ahead of the midweek meeting with Cribbs.
